- You can build a Website using just a text editor like Microsoft's Notepad.
This was how Websites were created in the beginning. Before all the
programs to make it a lot easier to do.
When people started creating Websites long ago they had to learn a
language called HTML (Hypertext Markup Language). When you view a web page
what you see is really not the whole picture. Your web browser is programmed
to read HTML code and translate the coding into what you see on the screen.
If you typed this code into a text editor and opened it in your web browser it would

HTML uses Tags in the code to process information. Example, notice the <p> in the code. This is
a tag telling the browser "new paragraph". The text in this paragraph
continues until the tag end of </p>
You can also see that to design a Website, especially a complicated one, is a
